La Spezia is an important merchant port that in the last 10 years has partially adapted to cruise traffic. Second largest city in Liguria certainly enjoys the attractions of the nearby 5 Terre world tourist attraction for its villages overlooking the sea and Portovenere historic seaside village with the characteristic church of San Pietro overlooking the sea in the Gulf of Poets. It is therefore worth a visit.
